He is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and United States District Court – New Jersey. Mr. Bonus practices exclusively in the area of drunk driving defense. He is Alcotest Certified and among approximately 50 NJ lawyers certified in operation and maintenance of the Drager Alcotest 7110, the instrument used to test breath samples for blood alcohol content (“BAC”) in NJ. In addition, Mr. Bonus is not only among approximately ten (10) lawyers certified in the state in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing but also happens to be a certified instructor in these tests. There are approximately five (5) lawyers in the entire state that hold this credential. These tests are used to establish both probable cause to arrest and also prove a driving while intoxicated (DWI) case where there is no scientific evidence of blood alcohol content (e.g. Alcotest readings or blood sample readings).
